Anatomy and Physiology

Online Certificate Course – 125 hours

The beauty of healing with essential oils includes a relationship with and an understanding of the human body.

Online Anatomy and Physiology Course includes Pathophysiology

While I was a student at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, I undertook studies in healthy physiology and then pathophysiology. I absolutely fell in love with both. By learning healthy physiology first, I could understand more about how an homeostatic imbalance happened. From the tissue, organ, or system perspective, I began to also see how essential oils could be utilized to support the physiology of the body rather then always trying to treat a ‘disease’.

Our new Anatomy and Physiology course is designed in a similar fashion. This course covers the very basics of pathophysiology without being a pathophysiology course in and of itself. We go into more depth with various homeostatic imbalances in our Aromatic Scholars certification course, Aromatic Medicine course, and other independent modules offered online.

Our goal is to have you develop a relationship to the body in health and then gain insights into what may happen when homeostasis goes out of balance. We have titled each module to reflect the contributing role that system has to the human organism and to life.

What our Students Say

Grace and Integrity

What I love about the way Jade teaches is that she is about teaching and educating. She stick to her beliefs and question what needs to be questioned so people can critically think about what is at hand versus reacting to something without any thought to why they are doing what they are doing or just going with the majority without really ever questioning the content in its entirety. Jade sees the big picture and she stays true to herself and what is at hand.

Jade shares her insight with such grace and honesty. I am truly honored to have Jade as my teacher! Thank you! I am looking forward to learning as much as I can.

– Mary Ann Sagritalo

Connection and Magic
