Exploring: Roots and Seeds of Aromatherapy
September 16 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Sunday, September 16th | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm EST
With Amy Anthony
As we settle into the fall it is a perfect time to reflect less upon the flowers of spring and summer and more upon the end result of the flowers: seeds! This is also a time of year we are thinking about roots, both in our diet (e.g., carrot, parsnip) and how nature is putting energy back into the ground in preparation for winter. Join us to explore several of the roots and seeds used in aromatherapy. Get ready to experience Angelica, Spikenard, Carrot and Coriander among many other amazing root and seed oils!
Look forward to the following during this 3 hour workshop:
Learn about select root and seed oils’ therapeutic benefits and spend time getting to know them through guided and shared olfactory meditations.
Sipping on select infusions made of roots and seeds.
Each participant will make their own blend of essential oils to add to a nourishing body balm to take-away and enjoy through the upcoming days of autumn and into the winter.
