Star Juice Aromatherapy
Starjuice Aromatherapy is the creation of Darcey Pickard, Certified Aromatherapist & LMP. Darcey first discovered the power of aromatherapy and essential oils at a natural health store in College Park, MD, in 1991. She has been blending ever since! After moving to Seattle in 1996, Darcey immersed herself in the world of holistic health and aromatherapy while attending Brian Utting School of Massage. Since opening her own massage practice in 1999, Darcey has continued to study aromatherapy through classes, reading, and experimenting with blends in her practice. In summer 2008, she completed her Masters Apprenticeship Aromatherapy Certification with the School for Aromatic Studies.
A full-time mom and "entrepreness," Darcey lives in West Seattle with her handsome husband Peter (a New Zealand import), her awesome cutey of a son Holden, and their trusty pooch Rocco. In her spare time she likes to play piano, garden, practice yoga, eat good food with great friends, and get massages & pedicures. (Oh, if there was only more spare time!)
Darcey's vision? To provide people with high quality, fun, hip products rooted in the history and tradition of aromatherapy. "I've always believed in holistic health—treating the whole person and unlocking people's innate power to heal themselves. Starjuice enables me to share this philosophy with the world.
Like the facets of a gem Roxana’s pure botanical perfumes reflect a myriad of synergistic disciplines. Professional training in aromatherapy cultivated her nose with a firm knowledge of the healing attributes found in the plant kingdom. As an award winning artist she brings gifts of storytelling, conceptual thinking and a strong visual aesthetic to her work in fragrance. These two disciplines weave seamlessly with her natural instincts into authentic expressions of olfactory art. The insignia of the honey bee, who creates a golden elixir from the flowering earth, is the beating heart and luminous soul at the core of these creations. Roxana Illuminated Perfume was birthed with an intention to bring light to the inherent beauty of nature. From her apothecary in the Santa Monica Mountains Roxana mindfully formulates and pours each perfume herself, in addition to tending hives of feral honey bees amidst a garden of California native plants.
My interest in Aromatherapy goes back to my childhood and a strong curiosity to want to know how to keep the body healthy and balanced, naturally.
When I became a Reiki Practitioner, I knew that I wanted to be able to help others find balance in their own lives. In addition to the energy work I have learned, I began to study Aromatherapy. I received my Aromatherapy training through Jade Shutes at the the School for Aromatic Studies and Jennifer Pressimone of Jennscents Institute. Anyone can use essential oils but the education I received gave me an important foundation to the therapeutic applications of aromatherapy for health and wellness.
I have many clients who have experienced wonderful positive results from the consultations and products I have provided for them. My practice is not limited to people. I also provide these services for your pets, large or small.
The body has a natural tendency to seek out health and balance. It is the job of the aromatherapist to discover the best pathway to health for each particular individual through the use of essential oils. My practice includes Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Reiki and Nutrition Consultations.

My passion for essential oils fueled my embarkment of the study of aromatherapy. In 2012 I graduated as an Aromatherapy Practitioner from Centro y Escuela de Aromaterapia Espiritual Integral (Mexico) and I am currently continuing my studies at The School for Aromatic Studies in the United States. In 2014, I completed my yoga teacher training at Vastu School of Yoga and became a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher.
My prior experience is vast in the marketing, communication and public relations fields in the United States and Argentina. I am a Journalist with a degree from Taller Escuela Agencia (TEA), Argentina and I have a B.S. in Communications from the University of Buenos Aires.
As a mother of three, the most important thing is to give my family and me a vibrant, healthy and invigorating life, away from harmful chemicals and toxic environments. In my opinion, organic whole foods and pure and natural personal care products are the first steps to optimal health. On my journey, I discovered therapeutic grade essential oils and have personally experienced its incredible benefits. They are gifts from nature which are readily available for us. Whether calming a baby, relieving pain, giving a massage, cleaning the house, cooking or just breathing in the aroma, essential oils can create a tremendous difference in our quality of life. For these reasons, I have made it my mission to study, use and share my knowledge and personal experience about essential oils, their properties and uses.

Scents of Wellbeing
I am a certified clinical aromatherapist providing all natural remedies for common & uncommon ailments. I have studied & practiced clinical Aromatherapy for 13 years. I have treated a large number of symptoms, ailments, illnesses, injuries & conditions, both mild & severe, with great success! Can I help you with your ailment? Probably, just ask! Most of my clients come to me after trying “everything” and are amazed at the capabilities of essential oils. I hope you are, too!
In 2002 I graduated from the School for Aromatic Studies, receiving a diploma for certification as a clinical, holistic aromatherapist. Along with acquiring in-depth knowledge of over 70 oils, I learned to customize blends for individuals, based on private consultations (which I still do today). In fact, most of the blends I sell in my shop were originally created custom for a client.
I now utilize 66 different essential oils. You will find I also use herbal infusions, floral waters (hydorosols), vegetable oils & other all-natural carriers to compliment some products. I never use synthetics of any kind and only use 100% pure essential oils. In fact, I have researched each of my sources and only buy from companies that share my high quality standards for clinical aromatherapy.

Evie Carr has been using essential oils medicinally since 1997. She attended the School for Aromatic Studies in the fall of 2000 to gain her Diploma in aromatherapy.
I like to create. So that's what I do. I'm most centered when I'm on the wheel (pottery, that is) and spend most of my time working on ways to get what is in my head put into clay. From pit fired pieces, glazed by fire and earth, to my Dia de los Muertos work, vibrantly colored, I choose to create what inspires and challenges me.
