In 1991, I founded the School for Aromatic Studies, one of the first in North America, a pioneering institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and training in the field of aromatherapy. Through the School for Aromatic Studies, I have had the privilege of sharing my expertise and passion with aspiring aromatherapists and enthusiasts alike. The school has become a leading authority in aromatherapy education, offering comprehensive programs that empower students to become knowledgeable practitioners of aromatherapy and formulators in the field of botanical skin care.
Global Reach and Innovative Approach
The impact of the School for Aromatic Studies extends far beyond its initial establishment. Today, our innovative aromatherapy courses and signature approach to holistic aromatherapy and blending are taught by instructors in Hungary, Crete, Vietnam, Russia, Romania, Sweden, the Netherlands, Canada, Argentina, and throughout the United States. This global network of educators ensures that students worldwide have access to our cutting-edge curriculum, the Aromatic Studies approach to blending, and benefit from our renowned teaching methods.
As a testament to my dedication to aromatherapy education, I also played a pivotal role in establishing the first aromatherapy school in New York City (the NY Institute of Aromatherapy). Through licensing my course content from 2013 through 2020, I provided the core aromatherapy education, allowing hundreds of students in New York City to receive comprehensive training in aromatherapy and botanical body care product formulation.
The NY school is no longer licensed to teach Aromatic Studies courses and Jade Shutes is no longer associated in any way with the NY Institute of Aromatherapy.
Jade’s courses have been translated into French, Spanish, Russian, Vietmanese, Romanian, Swedish, and Dutch.
